Job description

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) IT Specialist will work both at a strategic and tactical level. You will be responsible for both the planning, designing, build and support of all IAM services utilized within the company. The IAM IT Specialist must ensure that all IAM services are fit for purpose to cater for internal, contractors and partners that the company engages.


The IAM IT Specialist will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment which provides services to the entire Games Global organisation, through effective and efficient collaboration. Customer satisfaction and continuously service delivery are key aspects of the role. Ensuring that our IAM services complies with ISO and COBIT controls are of paramount importance.


  • The analysis, technical design, and implementation of the technical requirements for Identity and Access Management (IAM) toolsets/services, including automated processes for full user lifecycle management related to Identity Management.
  • Integrate new business applications and systems into the IAM framework and toolsets, e.g., Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and/or OKTA.
  • Ensure that operationally all IAM processes and toolset comply to vendor best practices and supports game development strategy.
  • Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of IAM systems, including provisioning, de-provisioning, account monitoring, access reviews and authentication support.
  • Implement role-based access for new joiners and movers, this will ensure that employees are obtaining the correct access to systems based on their role.
  • Implement automated removal of roles when employee contracts are terminated, and employees move positions within the company.
  • Implement break glass admin account management, i.e., emergency backdoor access for all critical systems and applications.
  • Develop in consultation with the IT Governance Teams, Policies, Processes, Standards, and work instructions for the IAM Domain.
  • Ensure least privilege access for all identities. This may involve regular audits of user’s accounts, especially administrative accounts.
  • Ensure that all global admin type passwords are stored in a secure space, e.g., Electronic Vault.
  • Act as an expert providing direction and guidance to key stakeholders and partners around IAM.
  • Ensure that all IAM toolsets are fully patched based on agreed N or N-1 patching standard.
  • Plan and coordinate IAM toolset, minor and major upgrades to ensure OEM support.
  • Attend IT conferences in order understand IAM current versus future trends.
  • Visit global offices and partners to ensure adherence to IAM processes and standard.
  • Be available after hours (occasionally) when needed.

Job requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Multi Factor Toolsets, Single-Sign On, SAML 2.0 and SCIM integration experience, Federation Management e.g., OKTA, Microsoft MFA.
  • AWS IAM services and dynamic groups
  • Preferable bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience IT experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience related to designing, implementing, and supporting IAM toolset, LDAP, and associated directory services.
  • TOGAF Certification Preferable
  • AZ104 Certification
  • AZ900 Certification
  • AZ500 certification (advantageous)
  • Familiar with ISO271001 and NIST Framework
  • CISSP Preferable
  • Microsoft Active Directory Certification.
  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory Certification.
  • OKTA Certification Preferable.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Microsoft O365 Certification/s
  • Experience in Public Certificate Management
  • Experience in setting up and managing a Certificate Authority
  • General Cybersecurity knowledge specifically related to IAM domain
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver effective feedback.
  • Ability to work independently.
