An exciting and rare opportunity to join our amazing People Team. The Senior Reward Manager will support the Director of Reward in the overall running of the Reward team and help to ensure the management of the Reward center of excellence team. The role will advise on best practice for total reward processes, contribute to the planning, design and implementation of compensation and benefit programmes. The role will partner with business stakeholders on the creation of new and existing total reward schemes.

Job requirements

  • Lead and provide strategic input and direction to the development of pay, reward, recognition and benefits strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Ensure reward and benefits strategies (both tangible and non-tangible) and policies and reporting comply with local and industry regulations, governance and are legally compliant.
  • Provide expert advice to the leadership and annual remuneration processes ensuring the processes are fair and equitable and in line with the reward strategy.
  • Responsible for overall delivery and impact of the annual bonus scheme; ensuring its timely and successful execution, providing support and guidance to, but also challenging managers where necessary.
  • Guide and lead the Reward team to ensure the successful execution of the annual salary review process, including input into the benchmarking and grading all global roles, matching roles to relevant levels/codes, providing support and guidance to managers. Challenging allocations where necessary and providing detailed analysis of the data and key insights to the leadership team.
  • Oversee the global grading framework ensuring alignment of job profiles and grading on a global basis.
  • Serve as a key resource for employees and managers regarding all benefit related matters.
  • Gather data for the annual budget process for total rewards and manage expenditures related to benefit programs.
  • Develop, implement and manage a global employee recognition scheme within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with reward processes, including data processing.
  • Own any ad-hoc reward projects, such as job architecture alignment and recognition and any annual reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for all areas of reward.
  • Reward expert, providing ongoing compensation support and consultation for global offices, ensuring consistently applied philosophy around grading, benchmarking, and bonuses.
  • Provides business managers with rationale and guidance for reward related decisions such as, hiring, promotions, bonuses etc.
  • Responsible for all employee benefits, including annual renewals, claims, communications and updates global benefits projects to review and align benefits where possible, and compare with the location market.
  • Conduct annual benefits benchmarking review exercise and make recommendations for changes to the global offering, providing detailed analysis of trends in the market/with competitors to justify recommendations.
  • Lead the introduction of new benefits where applicable and other ad-hoc benefits projects.
  • Promote the employee benefits through comms to staff and proactively suggest changes to the process/offering.
  • Keep up to date with market benefit trends in all global locations.
  • Mentor and lead the Reward team under the direction of the Director of Reward, ensuring strong leadership to help deliver results.
